WSC Tennis – A Classic Sports We All Enjoy.
This tournament is created by the fans of Wii Sports Club. As the online servers shut down, the Team decided, why not make the best of Online features unique with an event we would like to hold. It’s our year-end tournament. We saw impressive performances from many Wii Sports Club players and only EIGHT will make it into our forth-coming tournament and compete for the year-end crown. A way to see who truly is the best of the best.
As this is meant to be a fun event to wrap up the year, not usually an official tournament, we expect the process to be easy and should be manageable to follow. We expect our players to respect each other, the players and the game. Any player’s conduct or behavior violating the standard rules of the event will be disqualified and ranking points will be docked against you.

Rules of the game – Structure format:
Format of the tournament is a Round Robin structure
Eight players will be split into two groups of four
In your group, you must play against all participants in your Round Robin Group
Win as much games as possible. You can still move on if you have lost one match. Wins on a round robin are worth 200 ranking points.
Progressing into the semi-finals and the finals
To make it into the final four, you must have a passing Round Robin result. This is determined by how much games you won or lost, the sets you’ve won/lost, and the points you’ve won/lost.
Final four players will move into the semi-finals to find a spot into the finals. A victory is worth 400 ranking points.
Reaching the final and winning that match in a Best of Five games will be the year-end finals champion. A win is worth another 1,000 ranking points.
If you win all three matches in your Round Robin group, win the Semi-finals and the Championship Round, you are considered to be named as the undefeated champion and will hold a prestigious title!

Round Robin protocol:
Each players in their assigned groups must introduce each other, exchange friend codes (this is recommended since you will need to set up friend rooms if you get swapped – you can remove each other after) and make sure to set a FIRM time on when you can play. You must both agree on when to play. If one member decides to withdraw from the event, a replacement player will step in to take their spot in the Tournament, and the round robin determination is still in effect for that affected player.
The format for round robin is the best of three games. A Player would need to secure at least two games to win. If the the score is 1-1, they must force a deciding set. Each members MUST record their final result on how much points you got on across all matches. (ex. 7-0, 1-7, 7-0). This is used to determine Round Robin standings. If you don’t record your scores, you will have to re-do all of your matches you didn’t record or will have to face disqualification. MAKE SURE you remember and NOTE DOWN the scores.
