Christy starts with 1-0 in Group Cheeseburgers
It was a wonderful start than ever for Christy. She claimed her first victory against Trevor in a well-fought match in which the Canadian completely dominated. A win that started her off extremely well, 7-2, 7-2 against the eight seed Trevor.
Christy commented: “Perfect, but not at the complete Perfect tune just yet. I’ve still got work to do against Mr B.F.F and Quintin. They are playing at their very best so maybe it’s time to practice again before I show them what I’ve got.
Here’s the first statistic written. Christy has the control so far, carrying a win in her group and she will decide her fate once she’s set to play with Quintin in the second Round Robin.
Trevor, on the other hand, not gutted by the loss said: “Christy played very well. I was happy for her. I fought a good fight but you know, she’s the smarter one out there and I got some improvement. She is going to give me all the inspiration that I will need for my confidence to be at such a high level. I’d be delighted to play in another match coming into this result.”
Trevor has two more matches to make amends, against Mr B.F.F and Quintin where he can find a bounce back in his form so far in the Round Robin stage if he wants to make a Final 4 spot happen.
Meanwhile in Group Hamburgers, Miguel and Adier are set for their first opening match.
S. Gameboy and Surrey is busy because of scheduling but will be eventally paired up with his opening Round Robin match. Group Cheeseburger players Mr B.F.F will be set to play with Trevor while Quintin debuts with Christy on their respective Round Robin matches next.
